Edge Of Tomorrow (2014)

The original music used in this scene is almost comical. A group of soldiers gearing up to fight a futuristic war and they are listening to honky-tonk? The music needed to be intense, pulsating, energetic and the aforementioned futuristic. I went with a trip-hop song because I think it encapsulates all those moods and swells with the anxiety of the upcoming battle. It pumps you up too. The lyrics, in an abstract way, also fit in with the futuristic ("one armed man") and fish-out-of-water ("Troubleshoot your life/Gonna make it to the problem page/ Need some time and space/Just to find yourself/ hope you find yourself /In a low place like home") themes that are happening in this scene.
